Hello,
can you point me to any relevant information you have or suggestions on osteoarthritis in the back, lots of stiffness in the morning - fairly older female, active with exercise - helps to keep moving. Has informed higher reps seems to give her more benifit unsure what this relates to in terms of supporting her situation. Her training consists of more caloire burner type things such as spining and circuit based. You talk alot about key is to train - movement and assess recovery - working up the volume/ strength?? And range of movement accordingly along with reassurance!
any support - advise- conformation would be amazing
Thanks!
Hi Doomreaper,
It sounds like you are on the right track overall. We have discussed the general approach to back pain (particularly persistent pain) in a number of places on our website, our YouTube channel, and here on the forums. Hopefully some of our helpful forum members here can help collect some of those resources for you here.
In the meantime, I’ll introduce you to a few recommended introductory resources to start educating folks on the topic:
We also have our BBM rehab guys, who offer remote consultation for this sort of thing as well.
