I’ll be switching my pre training meal from whey and poptarts to whey with oats. This is probably an absolutely stupid question but can I just add them in with the whey and milk without heating them up? Wondering if I’ll get the same digestion and nutrients eating them that way.
Yes, you can do that, and that’s the general idea of making overnight oats. They soak all night so they are a bit broken down and more edible and simply non-cooked, non-soaked oats. Enjoy!

I love overnight oats! After dinner, I mix 1 cup of dry oats, chocolate whey protein, and instant coffee. Add water, stir, put in fridge. They’re ready to go in the morning. Simple and tastes good!
