I did on this wednesday shrugs and in one of the reps I suddenly felt a pinch in my upper back, near my left shoulder blade. It has been very painful since then and I can barely move my neck or shoulders without it hurting.
So my questions are:
Should I go see a doctor (the closest apointment I found is in 3 weeks) and if so should I train up until then?
If I should not take a break from training, how do I train around this injury considering it hurts when I try and get into position for any of the compound lifts?
@Ben_Cohen sorry to hear about the recent symptoms. How have you been managing since your OP? How old are you? Has this happened before?

It actually got worse since my injury and I have been to a physiotherapist and he told me to take a few days off and then to get back slowly into training regularly, though right now I don’t see myself training again in a few days as I can barely change my shirt without pain. I am 17 right now, and this hasn’t happened before.
I don’t exactly know how to explain what’s going on as English isn’t my first language, but it has gotten much better now and the pain is almost completely gone.
