Hi,
Is the creatine utilized in Peri-Rx creapure? Also, any plans to have a standalone creatine or version without it?
Hi,
Is the creatine utilized in Peri-Rx creapure? Also, any plans to have a standalone creatine or version without it?
We often use creapure when we can pending availability and costs. Our other creatine suppliers are on the same level IMO, but the entire industry has been challenging to navigate with supply.
Our next version of “peri” will return to the separate pre- and post- products. The post product will not be creatine only, but close: it’ll be creatine and betaine only.
Thank you! I just wanted to make sure it’s same efficacy wise. Is there anyway to figure out which version I have? My expiration is like May 2026 so I got it a fair bit back.
I was hoping to buy some more but it’s out of stock.
Would you be able to share what’s in the next version of the pre and post workouts? I’d be willing to spend more for a creapure version! I’d love to get my hands on both asap when it’s available. Is that coming next before a restock?
I’m primarily interested in the citrulline malate. It’s been hard to find citrulline malate that’s Informed Sport or similar with beet root extract. I can find citrulline but not citrulline malate specifically. I can get third-party tested creatine no problem, haha.
There’s no way to know if it’s creapure or not based on dating, unfortunately. If it helps ease your concerns re: efficacy, I do not think that creapure has the advantage it once did in the marketplace. There are many other options that are as good as creapure, but at a lower cost. The main issue with all creatine sources is supply. In any case, both our raws and finished products are all batch tested, so I feel pretty good about all options ![]()
I can tell you that citrulline malate will not be in the new formulation, mainly due to emerging evidence and packaging concerns. If you wanted to supplement citrulline, you could do it in either form, but the dosage would change.
You’re correct that beet root is kind of an enigma. Most supplement companies try to use it for nitrates, though betaine and betalains are also present and beneficial. The issue is the concentration. It is very hard to get consistent concentration (or even to know the concentration) of these things within beet root extract/powder/concentrate. We’ll be using betaine anhydrous and a nitrate source directly to overcome this.
Great to know! Ah, sounds good on citrulline. I thought malate had some sort of benefit as opposed to citrulline alone. I can find citrulline easily. If it’s the exact same I’ll get citrulline.
Also quick question on creatine: does that mean I don’t need to go out of my way to get creapure assuming it’s informed sport, reputable company, etc etc. like optimum nutrition is informed choice and extremely well-known it’s a bit cheaper than creapure. RAW Nutrition is also well known and informed sport they even have flavored versions! Something I don’t see with creapure often.
& looking forward to trying the new pre/post! Thanks bro. Selfishly, here’s hoping there’s no beta alanine lol I love your current peri-rx but hate the tingles.
Totally cool if you can’t share but figured I’d try, is this new formulation coming this year or quarter or something?
I think many sources of creatine monohydrate are as good as Creapure™, yes. If it’s 3rd party tested (NSF, Informed Sport, USP, etc.), I think it’s fine.
New formulation is due out by end of Q1!
Sick. Thanks. You just saved me some money ![]()
Also, no difference in citrulline malate vs citrulline provided the above third-party testing criteria is met? I think the dosage for L-Citrulline vs. Citrulline Malate 2:1 is just half? E.g. 4g L-Citrulline vs. 8g Citrulline Malate 2:1.
& awesome!! I’ll be sure to cop the new pre/post BBM supps then. Excited to see what it contains. End of Q1 is quite close! Really appreciate your help as always.
Yea, I think the evidence is very weak/mostly in favor of no effect re: malate. If I were going to supplement anything related to citrulline, I’d be focused on the citrulline content.
Fingers crossed our manufacturer is also on our timeline lol.
