16 days ago I woke up with what I assume is a pinched nerve. Insane pain in my right shoulder blade and neck. It felt like my neck , shoulder, and arm were all fused together. The only thing that helped pain was laying flat on my back with no pillow. Fast forward to now , the pain is still somewhat in the shoulder but has since migrated to my right arm ( mainly tricep and forearms) and it’s caused a pretty significant weakening of my tricep and grip strength. The only thing I know to do is to try and maintain some semblance of normal training. All of my pressing is now single arm work , as is my direct arm work. Should I just keep trucking with this and hope pain subsides and strength returns? Starting to get discouraged because the pain is causing me to have awful sleep quality.
Consider seeing a physician for this.
