Post Powebuilding I Programming?

Just completed the Powerbuilding I template. Gotta say I loved it! Made far better progress than I thought I would, and really enjoyed the changes in programming over time. A little history: Initially I ended up purchasing the Powerbuilding I template, and started it only getting about halfway through. I then took some time off from barbell training due to work/ scheduling, which lasted for about four and a half months. When I got back to lifting I started with the Bridge. Once I completed that run I started Powerbuilding I again. I’m happy with the results, which I have noted below and compared them to my Bridge results from a prior run.

Presently I am trying to lean out, so some lifts didn’t see much change, although I am feeling stronger - weight has gone up to ~224, and I’m again watching calories as I am in a deficit. Here’s where I ended up:

Comp Squat: 380x1 @8
Comp Bench (1 ct): 245x1 @8
Comp Dead: 405x1 @8
OHP (strict): 155x1 @8

The ask: What would be a good recommendation (if not a Bridge or Powerbuilding I rerun) for the next couple (few) months as I work on leaning out - ideally around mid to upper 190#s? I was considering Hypertrophy I. If it matters: My home gym consists of an R3 rack, Rogue OHP bar, and 10-50# dumbbells.

Thanks!

I’d probably just do Powerbuilding I again unless you have a wild hair to do more bodybuilding work (hypertrophy I) or have a wider variety of lifts (general s/c 1).

Hypertrophy does sound interesting. If my goals at this time are primarily focused on losing body fat, and physique, would your recommendation change, or can this be accomplished virtually the same with the Powerbuilding template- perhaps with more tweaks to diet and cardio?

Thanks for your insights!

P.s.: I hope you all make it back to STL (I’m in CoMo) for a seminar! Missed the last one due to travel.

Yep, you could do it on the PB template. Hope to see you at the next seminar!
