I am 38/M 90kg/173cm and my best lifts are SQ 165kg, BP 120kg, DL 180 kg and OHP 80 kg. I have trained for more than 12 months but with a lot of up and downs and changes in programming. However, now I am consitelty doing the bridge. My goals are 1. Getting stronger (and maybe bigger) and 2. Lose some body fat. I have two questions: 1. Do you recommend running the peaking template after the bridge? and 2. Do you think the new Power builiding II is appropriate for me ?
I think because you are coming off the Bridge and getting good results, go to Powerbuilding I first (it’s a 3 day template (+2 day GPP), compared to Powerbuilding II which is 4 day (+2 day GPP)). Powerbuilding would suit your goals for sure though. Peaking would be completely up to you - do you really want to test your maxes right now? If there’s no reason to, just go onto Powerbuilding.
