Hello, recently I’ve let myself slip on my diet, for like 3-4 days, I just kept my calories in check but consumed mostly fats and carbs. Protein intake was at about 0.4g per pound of bw. (Recently been on a very precise diet so I just needed a break from all the strictness)
As a powerlifter, can this have short term negative effects on my performance in the gym? Obviously we don’t want a low protein diet for the long term for various reasons, but as protein is not really the main source of energy does it really matter for my next couple of workouts? Thanks.
