Powerbuilding II Template Questions

I recently purchased the Powerbuilding II template and I’m hoping you can clarify a couple of things…

  1. How are Step Ups correctly performed? Is there are a height recommendation for the step? Do you alternate legs for the 12 reps (i.e. 6 reps for each leg per set) or do you recommend completing a set of 12 reps for one leg and then then repeating for the other leg? Is there a demo video for steps ups like there is for other exercises?

  2. What is the best way to complete Myoreps for the DB flat bench? I’ve done this for DB incline bench on other templates and I can easily sit up and rest the DBs on my legs for the 20 secs. between sets. What technique do you suggest with flat bench? Do you just drop the DBs on the floor and move them back into position during the 20 sec. break?

Thanks for the well wishes- right back at you!

  1. I would use a box that’s ~knee height or slightly higher. I would also alternate legs for 12 reps per side. We don’t have a demo video just yet!

  2. Do a set of DB flat bench to near failure, then when pausing between cluster sets, keep the DB’s on your legs or on the ground at close reach. This may be problematic at heavier weights, but I’d just factor in the “set up” time into your rest periods.
