Press questions

Got some questions for you I hope you could answer them.

  1. The first one is regarding to the strengthlifting II template,so I see in week 6 there is some decrease in the pressing volume on day 3 and 4,but week 7 is the deload week now the question is what is the reason for the decreased pressing volume in week 6, is it just to incorporate singles?
  2. When warming up on the press and the program says 1@8 with 75 kg and 4@9 with 70 kg, how heavy should the last warm up set be? Typically, my last warm up set is 4 reps with 60 kg, but I do not feel very confident with jumping to the 1@8, might it be a better option to do a single @7 before the 1@8, if yes the 1@7 would be between 72.5-75 kg and would that make much of a difference?
  3. On exercises where my 1rm is under 90kg and the 4@8 and the 4@9 are basically the same number, should you just take the next higher number on the 4@9 or let it be how it is?
