I think that from an exercise standpoint, the program design and various safety measures employed in that program are more than enough to reduce injury risk.
Save for that, eating a health-promoting diet that achieves and maintains a healthy weight and body composition, getting enough high quality sleep, managing stress as best as possible, and being educated to some degree on pain science would be good.
