I was reading up on an article from a friend who recommended this type of treatment because I had minor pain in one of my heels. My question isn’t necessarily about this type of injection as I was unable to find any research and am fairly positive it doesn’t have any significant scientific backing. I was wanting to know if you are aware of any research showing tendons or ligaments responding to any type of treatment that would speed up restoration or make them stronger than before. Is the response our bodies make to either an injury or increase in stress such as resistance training able to be “boosted” by anything?

Nope, this type of treatment approach has not shown effectiveness in humans.
