Protein efficacy

My father in law passed this little advertisement my way. Aside from the obvious that someone is trying to sell me something. My questions regarding this are 1) Is there research to support this? 2) Is whey protein really that poor at protein construction? 3) should I be getting the majority of my protein from food and not whey protein?

  2. No. Whey protein is easily the best, most efficient, and cheapest protein source we have with regards to muscle protein synthesis

  3. It doesn’t matter on a day to day basis. Use whey when you need.

No nuance here, but the whole thing screams scam.
