As a 58 year old should I assume that I am protein resistant and double the amount my whey protein serving?
Depends on what you’re doubling exactly, you know?
I’d recommend ~40g of protein per meal and you’d be okay there, likely.
I was thinking of the dosage of my whey protein supplement but by your answer I’ll need to bump up my meal protein by about 10 grams as well.
Thank you.
XTanuki is correct- I don’t know what you’re currently eating so it’s hard to sign off on "just doubling’ your protein intake.
I also don’t know your weight, how you’re training, or approximate body fat so it’s even more difficult to just spit out a number.
