Good Afternoon BBM,
I know this topic has been brought up time and time again. I read a post from Mike Israetel sating that although all protein is digested and absorbed only a certain amount (30-50 grams depending on body weight) can be used to build/maintain muscle in a given setting. He also states that the excess amount will be utilized as energy. If this is the case and you are a person who eats two large meals a day (75-85 grams of protein) per meal are you wasting protein for energy vs building/maintaining muscle. I wouldn’t re-post just anyone’s claim but I have been following Mike and feel like he has really good information. Looking for the team’s thoughts on the matter.
