Putting Heel Lift Inserts in Squat Shoes

Hello, this might sound ridiculous but I was thinking of getting some heel inserts to put in my 1" heel height squat shoes. The squat has never felt that great with my long legs and I think I can hit parallel just fine with them, but I was wondering if this would help in any way. I mainly am trying to use the squat for quad hypertrophy, high bar style. Is there such thing as too much heel height? The VersaLift inserts would give an extra 1/2 inch on top of the 1" heel height shoes and they are pretty cheap. Would this improve leverages for the squat even more? My only use for the squat is to build the wheels.

I’m not sure I’d expect massive differences in hypertrophy outcomes, but if you’re interested in trying it, go for it.
