Question about repeating RPE 8 set (12k Strength)

The supplemental lifts usually asks to repeat RPE 8 set for two sets. After finishing the first RPE 8 set, do I repeat the same weight for two more sets or do I lower the weights in order to hit another RPE 8 for two additional sets?

If you’re able to use the same load after the prescribed rest period at the same RPE, that would be appropriate.

If you find that this leads to overshooting/grinding, and you need to lower the weight a bit to hit the RPE target, that would also be appropriate.
