I don’t have any equipment really , but I was thinking about purchasing bricks and putting them in an old backpack. Would I be able to purchase the no equipment version and just do the movements with that ? I assume it’s still all rpe based ?
second question is how it’s structured. Is it like , ok today Supposed to be your squat day so do these movements instead ? Wondering if I could use this template in the future in a pinch if I don’t have time to get to the gym.
Brett,
Thanks for the post and I hope you’re doing well! To your questions:
-
You could do bricks, books, etc. in a backpack and do loaded movements. Those are available as options for many of the movements in the no-equipment template. It is still RPE based, with the idea being that you pick an exercise variation that gets you close to failure for the given rep range.

All workouts are full body, e.g. a lower body exercise, then an upper body exercise (or two), then another lower body exercise, and a core exercise. This might look like paused squats w/ loaded pack, then loaded deficit push-ups, then upright rows with loaded back pack, then planks…Or something like that
Hope this helps!
