Questions Regarding PB2

Hi Team,

I’m currently running Powerbuilding 2 and completed Week 5 of the program, I see that the next phase involves Heavy singles, however I’ve had a great increase in my 5RMs in the first 5 week of the block.

Squat | 135x5 @8 → 140x5 @7.5
Bench | 80 x4 @8 → 85 x4 @9
Deadlift | 180 x 5@7.5 → 190 x5 @8
Overhead Press | 55 x 4@9 → 60 x4 @9.5

My Question is, Could i run the First 5 weeks twice (Maybe different movements) before running the last 5 weeks as I wanted to have longer “Hypertrophyish” phases than the “Strenghish” phases as my deciding factor between choosing Hypertrophy 2 vs Powerbuilding 2 was mainly that PB2 had more heavier work while still accommodating enough Hypertrophy work, would this be a good viable option or do you recommend running it as it is?

You can certainly continue running any training week/block that you are responding well to in terms of performance improvement.
