What’s up guys! So yesterday I squatted 265 for some 5s and then worked up to a top set of 5 @405 on deadlift @rpe sub6. Just a little bit of discomfort during a set or two but nothing that I was worried about. After the workout the burning sensation in my lower back was worse than it was before training and I woke up with that today. Just wanted to know when the pain post workout is “bad” I will keep increasing weight each week if you guys think that’s fine!
I think you’re going to be fine, Shafiq. We have established that your symptoms don’t actually seem to correlate with anything “bad” / “dangerous”, and I know that the weights you’ve been lifting have been quite light and easy, so I doubt this represents the effects of accumulated fatigue or excessive training load.
