Rack pull height

In the “Movement Explanation” section of The Bridge, it specifies that rack pulls should be done from mid-shin height or using elevated blocks. In my rack, the lowest I can set the pins puts the bar just barely below my knees. Is it better to lift from that height, or is there some other modification or alternative (RDL?) I should consider? Due to spacing issues the blocks aren’t really an option right now.

Figure out a way to use mats or blocks to space the bar about 2-3" higher than it is normally on the ground.
