I have seen you guys back the claim that the CDC makes of ~1-2 beers a day being reasonably okay for the average man to consume in a day. That being said, I am a bit smaller than the average man in both height and weight (5’6 and generally in the 138-150lb range depending on my dietary goals at the time). Would an upper limit of 2 beers a day be a bit too much for someone of my size, and should I instead stick with 1 beer at most for the typical day? (I do definitely feel a bit of a buzz with two drinks in me, unless I, regrettably, drink several consecutive nights in a row).
Recommendations for alcohol aren’t really size-based, so I’d stick with the amounts mentioned in the podcast. I don’t think drinking daily is a great idea for most folks regardless of serving size.

A good rule of thumb for reasonable alcohol consumption for someone who’s on the smaller side is to keep it moderate. For most people, sticking to one or two standard drinks daily is a solid guideline.
