What do you recommend for recording or entering the weight used for lever rows on a barbell? Should I record the weight just on the side that I lift? Also, is it recommended to use a 45 on both sides as a beginning, or can the non lifted side be a smaller plate to increase ROM?
I recommend recording only the plates on the end of the bar, excluding the bar weight.
Well, if you’re considering this, you might as well place the non-lifted side on the floor without any plates loaded, then place a 45lb plate over the non-lifted end to keep it in place. Check out this video for a demonstration. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4C3UwDT4Mks
