Run PB II for the fourth time or start PB III?

Hey BBM,

I know this is a question that has probably been asked before, though I just wanted to get an updated opinion from you guys based on a few circumstances.

My numbers at week 10 of each run of PB II (not including squat since i’m carriying a hip injury for quite a while and haven’t been squatting with heavy weights):
First run:
1ct paused Bench press: 1 rep x 105 kg @ RPE 8.
OHP: 1 rep x 57.5 kg @ RPE 8.
Deadlift: 1 rep x 167.5 kg @ RPE 8.5.

Second run (Carried a slight upper body injury for about 2 weeks hence why the numbers went slightly down):
1ct paused Bench press: 1 rep x 102.5 kg @ RPE 8.
OHP: 1 rep x 57.5 kg @ RPE 8.5.
Deadlift: 1 rep x 180 kg @ RPE 8.5.

Third (current) run:
1ct paused Bench press: 1 rep x 112.5 kg @ RPE 8.
OHP: 1 rep x 57.5 kg @ RPE 8.
Deadlift: 1 rep x 190 kg @ RPE 8.

As you can see, during this run of PB II i’ve had probably my best results (except for OHP which I can’t seem to improve), which is one of the considerations i’ve had when thinking about whether to rerun PB II for the fourth time or start PB III. Also, I noticed that the volume of PB III is slightly higher than PB II, and i’m during a busy uni semester up until july, so i’m not sure that I want to train for even longer than I currently do at this point.

On the other hand, i’m feeling pretty fatigued at this point of running PB II at the end of each workout, and thought that the lower RPE of the top sets of PB III looked appealing from this POV.

I’ll add that i’m currently on a slow bulk where i’m planning on going from ~78 kg @ ~16.8% bf to around 85-90 kg in the next one or two years (i’m 21, and my height is ~180 cm, though I might have to cut in the middle if my bf gets a bit too high). So, hypertrophy is also a main goal of mine in addition to SBD strength, which is why I haven’t really considered the low fatigue template to deal with feeling a bit fatigued at the moment, as it looks like more of a strength focused template.

To finish with the question - should I rerurn PB II for a fourth time, and if so should I change any of the main / assistance exercises or anything else about the template? If I shouldn’t rerun PB II again, should I go to PB III or is there a different template that could work well for me? (I already bought PB III, I haven’t bought any of the other templates yet except for the PB series).

Thanks in advance!

I see it as 6 in one, a half dozen in the other. If it were me, I’d be itching to try something different and lean towards starting PB III. Sounds like a perfect fit for you right now.

Makes sense, i’ll go ahead and start PB III as I am looking forward to starting a new template like you said.

Thanks for the advice.
