Scoliosis Causing Visual Asymmetry / Hip Pain

Looking for some advice to pass long to my girlfriend. Did some searching of the forums and I think I know the answer but wanted to be sure!

Background: To quote her, “I’m tall with mild scoliosis that pulls my left hip back so my left leg sits a little higher than my right making my leg shorter by about an inch and a half”. She is considering going to a chiropractor for “hip realignment” and has been told by doctors previously that it “realigns me because over time they shift like teeth”. It’s been quite a while since she’s gone to a chiro. After some back and forth, sounds like she is mostly concerned with the visual asymmetry due to the leg length discrepancy (i.e. one butt cheek looks bigger than the other), as well as some minor hip pain.

My response was essentially that “hip realignment” isn’t going to actually change her anatomy in this way. For the visual asymmetry, I said it’s not really as noticeable as she thinks, but if it bothers her, a shoe insole on the shorter leg would be a quick fix. For the hip pain, I suggested the normal BBM “pain in training what do” route of load management (she trains regularly), with the hip pain template/a consult being future steps.

Did I miss anything or get anything wrong? Anything unique with her situation that would yield different suggestions? Thanks in advance for the help!
