Possibly a dumb question about secondary movements and RPE/%. When deciding which weight to use for RDLs, would that number be based off my deadlift numbers initially, or should I find the right RPE for that specific movement from scratch? If I see 6 reps at RPE 7 (73%) for RDLs, would that 73% be based off my conventional deadlift, or separate maxes for RDLs? Am I correct in thinking that RPE is RPE and the percentages/numbers don’t really matter as long as it feels like RPE 7?
