Should I cut more or go bulk?

Hello!

Thank you so much for everything you do in BBM!!

I have difficulties to decide should I cut more or gradually increase calories to weight gain.
When I look at MFP it shows that I was 100.5kg at 26.4.2018 (DDMMYYY) And I have been stedily losing weigth ever since but really started to more agressively “cut” about 2 months ago. I am quite happy with the results as I’m showing abs, but there is this small sack of bellyfat that is annoying. (to me)

My lifts have not been negatively affected by the calorie deficit. Actually my DL has gone up a little. Altough now I’m trying to get rid of some annoying LBP and glute pain. I’m thinking that when I’m done rehabbing the pain in about 2-3 weeks I would do the 12 week strength as I have previously done the 7 week 4-day hypertrophy template and now I want to get stronger. My lifts have been quite the same for months so I was thinking that I might want to put on some muscle for a change. But at the same time I’m looking at the BMI and the waist measurement and thinking that is those numbers ok…?

Stats:
Height: 189cm
Weight: 87.6kg
Waist: 85cm
BMI: 24.5
BF%: ~10%-12% (calipers and the navy calculator)

About 2200 kcals per day
250p/54f/180c

I have had some “cheats” here and there because of life and not being competitive, at least yet.

Should I gradually bring calories up so I begin to gain weight? And if so, should +1 to 2kg per month do fine? And to what weight should I bulk to?
Or should I cut more so my BMI goes down more?

Thank you for the time you took to answer this post!

I think you can gain weight if you want to. In general, 1-2kg per month is a reasonable rate recommendation IMO. I don’t have a top weight for you to attain without knowing more about you.

Thanks for the answer
