I have a son playing baseball. He pitched a complete game about two weeks ago and has only pitched about two innings since then. He now has shoulder pain when he pitches. I assume the shoulder rehab template would be appropriate for him. Any other considerations for rehabbing his shoulder?

Sorry to hear about this. It sounds like your son had relatively sudden onset issues after pitching more than he could tolerate in one game. It’s hard to say for sure what the best path forward is without more individualized consultation, but a sudden overload like this isn’t a situation that necessarily needs a full course of rehabilitative treatment.
It may be that he just needs a bit of rest to let the area cool off, then a gentle return to normal practice over the course of a few days / weeks. If an approach like that does not help resolve the symptoms, then more dedicated rehabilitation may be in order.

Your scenario was correct. An extended break from pitching with a gradual return resolved the issue.
