Sleep debt question

I listened to the sleep podcast and cannot remember if this was covered there… I apologize if it was…

Studies show that sleep quantity isn’t automatically indicative of good sleep quality.

Does this mean that you can “make up” sleep debt without sleeping exactly as many hours as you have lost if your sleep quality is high? (this, of course, assumes you’re sleeping at least enough hours each night, which for most people is 7-8)

There’s probably some element of benefit here, although I don’t know that this has been studied directly.
