I’m not sure if this belongs to Pain and Rehab section, but I figured it isn’t THAT bad so I decided to post this here.
For months now, I’ve had soreness in my right glute when I squat or deadlift or just when I bend over. I’m not sure if it’s tightness, or DOMS or something else. It’s really annoying. But, tt does feel better when I try to roll it out before my workout.
Does anyone know if it means that the muscle is weak or what I can do to get the soreness to go away?
I’ve seen that video. I guess I never thought of what I was experiencing as something I needed to work around. I just ‘powered’ through by workout dispite some discomfort. I initially just thought it was just DOMs until it lasted for more than a month. But that video made me wonder if it’s some kind of inflamation.
I’ll start working around it like you suggest in the video. But on a side note, is there anything else I can do to help speed up the recovery process, ibuprophen? anything? Or is working around it and not agrivating it good enough?
