I’m 46, male, 46" waist. Currently weigh 255 lbs. What should my starting macro numbers be for the novice LP program?

Current lifting numbers; high-bar squat 315x5, bench 260x1 if that matters…

I don’t think you should count macros unless you otherwise cannot lose weight. That’s what you need to do right now. This article may be helpful: To Be A Beast - Barbell Medicine

Thanks for the response. So going from the TBAB article and your protein optimization one, I should be shooting for 300 protein, 255 carbs and 69 fat per day, in addition to doing the LP and some HIIT and/or LISS?

Or am I over-complicating things, and should I be concentrating on training consistency and eating more cleanly, and worry about specific macro targets when fat-loss stalls?
