I am planning to start The Bridge 3.0 as of next week. I work a rather physical job for 12hr shifts. I am on my feet, moving and depending on how busy we are throughout the shift my heart rate can often get elevated. Workmates have used apps on their phones to record steps etc and we seem to do several miles worth throughout the shift. Could this be classed as the low intensity cardio that is to be included within the training week?
It definitely would contribute to total physical activity, but depending on the duration of each bout, it may not contribute to aerobic training. A good rule of thumb I use is that if the duration is < 5 minutes at a time, it’s probably not exercise.
