Do you have any thoughts on the use stem cell treatment for full thickness rotator cuff tendon tears?
The Regenexx website makes some pretty strong claims in support of it. Specifically, one of their patients is a power lifter with a “ high grade tear “ that made a full recovery and is now back to benching 375 lbs.
Looking for alternative solutions to getting another surgery. I have already had RC surgery on both shoulders and was just diagnosed on MRI with another full thickness tear of the infraspinatus as well as a laundry list of other conditions I don’t understand.
I have read your articles and understand there is no definitive research showing whether or not surgery vs. physical therapy is more effective.
I am 48 yo and want to prolong my ability to lift weights as long as possible.
