Straps for AMRAP/GPP work?

What is your opinion/guidance on using straps for AMRAP sets like the pendlay rows in PBII, or upper back ggp?

im assuming the e1rm you gather from the AMRAP set would be WITH straps?

The e1RM you use for the AMRAP set is a guess based on previous experience or, when it’s a new exercise, an educated guess. I don’t feel strongly for or against the use of straps, rather it should be personal preference IMO.

For the record, I use straps for most of my supplemental pulls, but none of my GPP.
