Strength II SL 3-Day Missing Option

Hey guys,

I started the 3-Day Strengthlifting template in Strength II. Having fun so far

In Week 1 Day 3, in the spreadsheet, there’s a slot for touch and go press. But, there’s no option in the app for a touch and go press. Can this be added to the app please?

We can add dozens of exercises to choose from, but it tends to slow the app down and we received feedback that the options were overwhelming. So, to do a touch and go press, you can add that in manually.

I think there’s a way to conserve it week to week, but my brain isn’t operating at full steam just yet so I need to punt this to my customer service team. If you email us at support@barbellmedicine.com, we’ll get you sorted.

That’s disappointing to hear that people don’t want options. I use the excel templates to plan my blocks, and then for the first week I make sure to add the options I planned into the app. It just takes a minute when I’m in the gym. After the first week, my chosen options stay in the app for that entire block. Why wouldn’t people want the options? I even add options in the write-in section because there aren’t enough. :joy:

I’m not sure, but imagine me between the rock and the hard place!

Jordan, I think we may have been talking about different things. The exercise Im asking for isnt available at all. I dont need it in a specific program, i just want it in the overall list. Unless you are saying you are reluctant to add another exercise to the general list.

I put two options per slot in the Strength II program on the app, but more in the Excel. I cannot add more options to the app for reasons mentioned above. If you’d like to select your own exercise for that spot, you can do it from the existing list. If an exercise you want to do is not in the list, you can add it yourself by selecting “create a custom exercise” in the app.
