Suggestions for Techniques to Stop "Checking" for Pain

I have been trying to resolve chronic back pain for quite some time which has been made more challenging by the fact that I also have mild to moderate OCD. Oftentimes, I’ll find myself mentally checking for pain or moving in certain ways/doing things to see if the pain is still there, ultimately noticing or triggering pain and I assume sensitizing myself even more to the pain. This also leads to me becoming hyper focused on my situation and ultimately feeling down.

Have any of you dealt with something like this before and found any strategies to reduce this unhelpful behaviour?
