Template Tiers when Changing Focus/Goals

Hello,

Summary of training history & stats:

  1. Free Bridge > Bridge 3.0 (partial; Covid shutdown) > At-Home Template > Powerbuilding I > Hypertrophy I > Hypertrophy II > Strength I
  2. Male, 165 lbs, 29 y/o
  3. Deadlift: 370 lbs, Squat: 250 lbs, Bench: 225 lbs
  4. No injuries currently At this point I’d like to alternate Strength and Hypertrophy templates, but I’m confused regarding how the tiers were intended to be used. Do I “reset” the tier number (I / II / III) if I change focus from strength to hypertrophy? Or just select a tier based upon my lifting experience? If I have to reset each time and I’m alternating the templates, then I’d be stuck in the “I” tier.

The numbers correlate as follows:

I= 3-day per week template
II= 4-day per week template (plus user-selected exercises for hypertrophy template)
III= 4-day per week template (plus user-selected exercises for strength template)

I’d probably just alternate between hyper and strength II if that’s your preference :slight_smile:
