"Tingling" in arms after taking Creatine

Doctors,
I began taking 1 teaspoon of ON micronized Creatine Monohydrate once daily in June of this year. I drink it mixed into whey protein and water. Every time I consumed it I would notice a tingling in my arms similar to what people describe beta alanine as feeling like. The tingling would begin within 5-10 minutes of ingestion and would vary in duration and severity lasting around 10 minutes. I was not too concerned until recently I had tingling in my chest after consumption which accompanied the feeling in my arms. It felt like I had just consumed a large amount of caffeine, and the feeling went away within 10 minutes. For the past 3 days I have taken creatine out of my shakes and no longer have the any of these symptoms.

Was wondering if you might have an idea as to what is causing this, and whether or not I could begin taking creatine again? I have asked several friends who are pharmacists but they do not have an idea as to what it could be. Love the content you put out, keep it up!

Many thanks,

Zack

It doesn’t mean anything necessarily, but creatine doesn’t typically do this.
