Training for Hyrox Competiton

Hello Doctors,

I want to prepare for a Hyrox competition, since this sport is very endurance heavy, but I want to maintain a “general” strength training, I wonder if I can implement this with your templates.
Due to time constraints, I would like to reduce the strength training to 2/week.
I have plenty of BBM templates, including the old 7 Week Endurance template, but I don’t know if this is still so “perfect” from a current perspective, as there is a new one out now.

Now for my consideration.
I have thought about whether it makes sense to use one of your 3 or 4 day templates, but to stretch this, or to compress.
A 4 day template e.g. to stretch to 2 weeks (BB template or Low Fatigue) or a 3 day template (Hyp1, PB1 or the new Endurance, which I would have to buy, if you say it differs from the old?) to compress and divide the 3 days to 2 days, but I think that a single unit is then too overloaded.
Can you please give me some advice on which approach might be the “better” one.

It also needs resources for endurance training and sport specific training.
I hope I have expressed myself understandably.

Special question: When is it possible to send your clothes to Europe?

Thank you.
Christian

I would probably do one of the Titan templates to prep for this sort of competition. I would not stretch a 4x/wk template into 2x/wk for 2 weeks, but rather do the template as written- selecting a 3x/wk template if that’s what you have for training. Titan I would be my choice, though I’m not familiar with specific Hyrox workouts specifically. I just know it’s a bit like CrossFit.

We’ll ship to Europe once we find a suitable shipping solution. I’m hopeful that’s soon

Hello Jordan,

thank you for your answer.
I have now decided and bought Titan I, the program looks really good, just to my taste.

However, I would like to do without the “Olympic exercises” for various reasons, should I simply delete them without replacement, or do you have alternatives or recommendations here what can be used in this place for “normal” strength exercises?
Same with the MetCons, the majority is feasible for me, just the WOD’s with the “Olympic elements”.

Last question, I don’t have access to a Prowler, do you think there is an adequate substitute for this?

Thanks a lot and I’m looking forward to get started

Christian

i have forgot this question.

Week 1, Day 3, is this a fault, is there missing a WOD?
