My lunch hour routine for years has been to go lift and I’m not willing to give that up. Just started the 12 week strength template and am realizing my lunch needs to be longer to complete these with proper rest in between sets. I have now have a rack at home that will allow me to complete the 3rd exercise/supplemental lift in the evening. Is the optimal? I don’t want to stop lifting over my lunch hour and I don’t want to do everything at home. I really enjoy the break in my day at work to train, just can’t afford to miss 2 hours when you include, shower, changing and cleaning up.
I’m not sure if I can confidently say training 2x/day vs 1x/day is better or worse, but I think completing your training is better than not.

This past Monday was the first time in weeks, if not months, that I was able to get in all my exercises in one session. Between work and personal/family life, I rarely get 90-120mins to get my training To piggyback off Jordan, what’s not optimal is not training and getting everything in. Depending on how my week looks, sometimes I’m forced to do 3 “mini” sessions a day (main lift/lifts, supplemental, GPP) because I’ll only get max 30-45mins at a time.
Just get it in and get after it
