Trunk exercises and progressiv overload

It is easy to progressiv overload squat exercises, but some trunk exercises are difficult to progressiv overload.

How do you progressiv overload trunk exercises like these?

  • Leg raises
  • Hanging knee raise
  • Toes-to-bar
  • Ab wheel roll out
  • V-Ups

Would it be better not to do these exercises, but instead choose exercises where it is possible to increase the weight?

You could add weight to all of those exercises or do more reps. For example, I like doing ab wheel roll outs with weighted vests, or toes to bar with more reps. Ankle weights can be super useful here.
