Unilateral muscle soreness

So this has been a fairly new issue I’ve been dealing with for several months. I have been experiencing right adductor soreness following most lower body sessions. I have a history of right lower extremity radiculoapthy. due to disc in addition to right FAI which I have had surgery on. The actual hip joint itself has displayed some issues which has for the most part been under control with a PT. The radiculopathy has not been an issue and is not the same pain I experience.
The soreness is usually 1-2 days following the session, doesn’t make a difference what intensity is used but it’s predominantly after squats. The soreness will also last 3-5 days and is probably a 6-7 in intensity. It is limiting me from both intensity and volume I can use and is just uncomfortable all day for the time period.

Has anyone else experienced something similar? I’m more than willing to cut out whatever movement but I am more so concerned that 1. I will have to keep squats out of my program for months and 2. it’ll result in a tear.
