Verifying supplement cGMP status

Hi, sorry if this is the wrong section on the forum but wasn’t sure where else to put it. I’ve been using peri-rx for around a year now but I’d like to cut back to only creatine to reduce my supplement spending. I’ve been looking for supplement vendors through the Informed for Sport catalog and I’ve also been trying to find one that has some kind of cgmp label/info but that’s been pretty hard. The closest I’ve gotten has been this item, which has the Informed for Sport labeling and elsewhere on the site has statements claiming to meet the FDA requirements, for example on this page and also this page. I’m not knowledge on how these certifications work and I wasn’t able to find for example some listing on the FDA site of vendors which do in fact satisfy these standards. In your view are the statements made on those pages sufficient or is there someplace I can verify this?

Thanks a lot for your time.

Jnzk,

If someone has Informed for Sport accreditation, they necessarily have cGMP accreditation as well. Usually they’ll put both on the label, but sometimes not. If it’s 3rd party tested through informed for sport, you’re probably good.

That all being said, I probably wouldn’t buy any supplements (other than maybe whey) if I was trying to save money. It’s just not really worth it IMO.
