Waist circumference varies with amount of air inhaled from 33” to 37”

Can you please recommend how I should measure my waist?

I saw Jordan’s video of him measuring his waist. My question is: To be consistent and precise, how much air should I inhale when I measure?

Here are some photos that show how my waist expands depending on how much air I inhale: https://photos.app.goo.gl/bQEsoCqM1D9hMYceA 1. Front of body
2. No air (i.e., basically sucking in or trying to “vacuum” my stomach): 33”
3. “Normal” inhale with shallow breathing: 35 ½”
4. Full inhale with deep breath and holding the air: 37” I’m 43 years old, 5’8”, 199 lbs.

Healthy is my first priority so I want to ensure that my waist size is below 37” to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.

Thank you!

Number 3 would be the correct way to measure it. Nice job.
