I’ve been doing LP for 8 weeks now. Have been tracking macros via MFP since the end of September.
current stats are:
Age: 39
Height: 6’2
weight: 276 started at 284 on 9/22
Waist: 48.25 last measurement was 47.38 on 11/19
Hips: 43.5
there is something wrong here. Macros total around 2400 calories. These are similar to my macros. Admittedly i am not that accurate but always keep protein above 200 and overall at 2300-2400 (sometime fat is on higher side etc). And I am 6’1 , 187 lb and losing weight. Started at 200 lb and 40 inch waist. Now at 187 and 36 inches. My lifts are less ( a lot less) and my weight is clearly a lot less. Even adding 2 conditioning days that i do, there is no way you are gaining weight/waist at 276lb with 2400 calories only. If anything this is a large deficit. Based on the To Be a Beast article, your fat loss calories should be 3154 at 276 lb so you are at 750+450=1200 calorie deficit. Are you sure about the numbers ?
Not sure at all. Seems off based on your article To be A Beast and my own experience following recommendations of that article which has worked exactly like you said. I followed the advice there and lost weight based on your calorie prescription (now i am at 2200 calories) . Matty is 276 lbs. based on your article his fat loss calories are 3154 and he is in a large deficit at 2400. Obviously, i can be wrong but data seemed off.
