Waist Too Small?

So there are cutoffs for waist circumference being too large for optimal health and disease prevention/reduction in risk. There are also guidelines for BMI for underweight, normal weight, and overweight. I was wondering if the BBM team was anywhere of any research or data regarding a waist circumference that would be too small?

Obviously there must be some amount that would be too small (10cm for extreme example for sake of argument), but I have been having trouble finding out what it is. I’m just curious. Thanks for the help!

I have not seen any research on too small of a waist, but I also think it’s likely that BMI is more predictive of potential harm from being underweight than waist circumference. The BMI cut-off there is 18.5.
