Warming up by 45lbs?

Dear Dr. Feigenbaum and Dr. Baraki,

Is making 45lbs or 20kg increments too much for a squat warm up? My top set of 1@8 seems to be 120~125. I have been stalling for about 5 weeks now after finishing the Gen strength amd conditioning template. Currently I am re-running Strength I because I didn’t have a very good first run. I do 3 sets of empty bar squats followed by sets of 40, 60, 80, 100, and finally 120.

I don’t have a problem with a 20kg jump, but if you don’t feel prepared for your top single you might reduce it down to 10-15kg and see how that does for you.
