weight/bf manipulation recommendation

Hey Jordan,

I’m a 25 y/o male, 202 lbs, with a ~38.5" waist the the widest (just below the navel). My lifts are 405/290/425 S/B/D. I don’t look lean, especially given the disproportionate amount of fat stored in my lower back/obliques. Currently I am running The Bridge 2.0 with 2x/wk conditioning and eating at maintenance calories (~2650/day). Ideally, I’d like to be more aesthetic while continuing to get strong.

I am curious as to what your recommendation would be for me nutrition/body comp wise going forward. I’m more or less been spinning my wheels for a few years now in improving my body comp.

Thanks.

CM,

Thanks for the message here. I think if you want to be leaner that you should do that. You’ll likely be able to get a bit stronger whilst doing that anyway, which is neat. Why don’t you shoot for 10lbs and 2-" off your waist and reassess?

Thanks a lot for your reply, Jordan. I assume The Bridge 2.0 and/or any of the GPP templates would be appropriate training-wise while I lose weight, correct? And is 0.5-1.0 lbs/wk a good target for loss rate?

That’d be fine by me.
