What's your butcher/grocery order look like for a week?

What what does your butcher/grocery store order look like for a week?

If my protein recommendation is around 180g a day (actually higher for a cut, but to make the example easier), and I want to split it evenly between chicken breast and ground beef let’s say

100g of chicken breast gives you, lets say ,around 50g of protein. And we’ll say 100g of gorund beef (70/30 by volume) gives you 25g of protein.

200g of ‘meat’ gives me 75g of protein. To hit 180g I would have to eat about 500g of ‘meat’ or about a pound of meat a day for the duration of a cut, until I switch over to a maintenance diet.

That’s about 6lbs a week (1lb/day for 6 days a week, with 1 day’s protein coming from whey/fage yogurt), 3lbs of of EACH protein source?

Usually ~ 3lbs of chicken breast and 1-2 servings of fish for the week. I eat out 1-2x/wk too on average.

For reference:
100g of ground beef is ~15g protein (FoodData Central)
100g chicken breast is ~22.5g protein (FoodData Central)

There are a lot of non-meat things that I eat weekly for protein, e.g. eggs, Greek yogurt, whey protein, dairy, etc.

In any case, however your numbers shake out is how much you need

woah. Thank you for the USDA sourcing. My proteinpal and other google top results bring up about double that amount.

Also if you have any recommendations for fish/beef cuts that you tend towards, long term, and you don’t get bored of, would be appreciated.

I don’t personally like fish that much and don’t really eat red meat at home. It’s personal preference though.
