women and weight lose

Hi  I am a 49 year old female who just started powerlifting in December of 2017. I have yo-yo dieted for years and finally said “screw this number thing! Do something you want and get healthy”. I swallowed my pride and walked into a Powerlifting gym. The owner was nice enough to allow me to lift with him and a couple others every morning after I get out of work (I work 2300-0730). When I started I could barely lift the bar but now… Now I can deadlift 230 pounds, bench 100 pounds and squat 200! I began becoming more and more interested in losing weight to try to begin to compete but I have not lost one pound since I began. Literally my weight is the exact same= 171 pounds. My height is 5’1". I began researching sources online and discovered Barbell Medicine and Leah Lutz on Starting Strength. I viewed Leah’s story and felt hopeful. Everyone in my squad keeps telling me my body will catch up as I am gaining muscle. I have gained two inches on my chest, 1 inch on my biceps and one inch on my thighs. Should I try to just enjoy my lifting gains or keep astute focus on my Macros? I am beginning to get depressed. I currently consume around 1000 calories with protein being 125-150g/ fat 20-30 g and the rest carbs but I am soooo hungry all the time. What can I do?
